Patch availableA session fixation vulnerability has been identified in osTicket v1.18.2. This security flaw allows an attacker to hijack a victim’s account by keeping the initial session identifier (OSTSESSID) active after a successful login. The issue lies in the fact that the application does not invalidate the pre-authentication cookie or generate a new identifier for the authenticated context. As a result, if an attacker manages to set a known session identifier in the victim’s browser, they will be able to maintain unauthorised access to the account once the victim has authenticated.

The product accepts input in the form of a backslash absolute path ('absolutepathnamehere') without appropriate validation, which can allow an attacker to traverse the file system to unintended locations or access arbitrary files.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation when the stated preconditions are met. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-38: Path Traversal: 'absolutepathnamehere'. The product accepts input in the form of a backslash absolute path ('absolutepathnamehere') without appropriate validation, which can allow an attacker to traverse the file system to unintended locations or access arbitrary files.
