No EUVD known-exploited evidence

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.6.27 until 0.11.1, backend/open_webui/utils/tools.py captured a cookie jar from the enclosing connection loop instead of binding it to each external tool callable. When multiple tool servers were attached and a session or system OAuth connection was processed last, a request to a different server configured for bearer authentication could include the calling user's Open WebUI session cookies, allowing that server's operator to reuse the session and take over the account. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1.

Why

The code transmits data to another actor, but a portion of the data includes sensitive information that should not be accessible to that actor.

How

An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

Exploit reality and attack path

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.

Observed exploitation
?Confirmed exploitation and public exploit material are separate signals. Attacks can occur without public proof-of-concept or exploit code.
No confirmed evidence

No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.

Public PoC / exploit material
?Confirmed exploitation and public exploit material are separate signals. Attacks can occur without public proof-of-concept or exploit code.
Reference recorded

CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.

Likely attack path
a network path → Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data → cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor

Privileges required
None: unauthenticated exploitation is possible

Attack complexity

CWE-201

CWE-201: Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data. The code transmits data to another actor, but a portion of the data includes sensitive information that should not be accessible to that actor.

CVSS vector
?CVSS means Common Vulnerability Scoring System. The vector records the metric values used to calculate technical severity.

Common Vulnerability Scoring System 3.1: the compact vector below is decoded into plain language.

AVNetworkAttack vector: The vulnerable component can be reached over a network.ACHighAttack complexity: Successful exploitation depends on specific conditions outside the attacker's direct control.PRNonePrivileges required: The attacker does not need an account or existing privileges.UIRequiredUser interaction: Another user must perform an action for exploitation to succeed.SUnchangedScope: The security impact remains within the vulnerable component's authority.CHighConfidentiality impact: A successful attack can cause a major loss.IHighIntegrity impact: A successful attack can cause a major loss.ANoneAvailability impact: No direct loss is represented by this metric.
Post-exploitation / living off the land
No specific living-off-the-land technique is confirmed in the structured sources. Monitor normal administration tools for activity inconsistent with the affected service's baseline.
