Fix not verifiedThe YOP Poll plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Origin Validation Error in all versions up to, and including, 7.0.10. This is due to the plugin transmitting a wp_rest nonce to window.opener via postMessage() with a wildcard targetOrigin. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to steal a REST nonce scoped to a logged-in Administrator and use it to change the Administrator's email address and password, resulting in full account takeover. The Administrator must open an attacker-controlled page in order to exploit this vulnerability.

The product does not properly verify that the source of data or communication is valid.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may bypass an access boundary or take over an account.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
