Evidence used
- No CISA KEV confirmation is currently recorded.
- A structured source references public exploit or proof-of-concept material.
- EPSS is 0.48% for the current model date.

Patch availableCodeWhale (codewhale / codewhale-tui) versions >= 0.8.41 and < 0.8.64 contain an argument injection vulnerability in the git_show tool. The model-supplied rev parameter is passed unvalidated into the git show argv without an --end-of-options sentinel, so a value beginning with --output= is interpreted as a git flag. Because the tool is registered as auto-approved and advertised as read-only, an attacker (via a malicious repository combined with prompt injection) can cause an unprompted arbitrary file write at the privilege of the invoking user, targeting sensitive files such as ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, ~/.bashrc, or ~/.gitconfig. Fixed in 0.8.64 by adding rev validation.

The product allows user input to control or influence paths or file names that are used in filesystem operations.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation when the stated preconditions are met. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-73: External Control of File Name or Path. The product allows user input to control or influence paths or file names that are used in filesystem operations.
