Fix not verifiedThe WP Ghost (Hide My WP Ghost) – Security & Firewall plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in all versions up to, and including, 7.0.02. This is due to the plugin not properly validating user input. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to redirect users to potentially malicious sites if they can successfully trick them into clicking on a specially crafted link. Exploitation requires tricking a logged-in user into clicking a crafted logout URL; the victim is fully logged out via wp_logout() before the malicious redirect is issued, making the logout irreversible as part of the attack chain.

The web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a redirect.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
