Patch availableDokploy is a free, self-hostable Platform as a Service (PaaS). Prior to 0.29.13, the backup.restoreBackupWithLogs tRPC subscription passes the databaseName parameter to restore builders in packages/server/src/utils/restore/utils.ts, where PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and MongoDB commands embed the value in nested shell text executed by Node.js exec. An authenticated user with backup:restore permission can supply a crafted databaseName that the host /bin/sh expands before docker exec, resulting in arbitrary commands running in the Docker-privileged host context. This issue is fixed in version 0.29.13.

Untrusted input reaches a command interpreter without sufficient validation or separation from command syntax.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-77: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection'). The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component.
