Official source article: Red Hat RHSA-2026:63016 ↗. Check the applicable product and release in the original source.
Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.
Structured product status and remediation from the issuing vendor. Product-state explanations are always visible; large lists can be searched or downloaded.
The vendor explicitly identifies these products as affected by this CVE.

Patch availableA flaw was found in the `submariner-operator` component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability allows a cluster administrator, or any user with permissions to modify the Submariner Custom Resource (CR), to specify an unvalidated image path. This lack of validation enables an attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges across the entire cluster, including control-plane nodes, by deploying a malicious image.

The product is built from multiple separate components, but it uses a component that is not sufficiently trusted to meet expectations for security, reliability, updateability, and maintainability.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with elevated privileges. If successful, the issue may execute code or commands in the affected security context.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-1357: Reliance on Insufficiently Trustworthy Component. The product is built from multiple separate components, but it uses a component that is not sufficiently trusted to meet expectations for security, reliability, updateability, and maintainability.
