Linuxカーネルにおいて以下の脆弱性が修正されました:USBのserialキーであるkeyspan_pdaに関する情報漏洩の修正です。write()コールバックは、受け入れた文字数または負のerrnoを返すことが想定されています。しかし、write fifoサポートの追加に伴い、keyspan_pdaの実装では、write urbが既に使用中でない場合にデバイスに送信された文字数を返していました。この数がwrite()に渡された文字数より大きいと、ラインディシプリンはtty書き込みバッファの範囲を超えてデータを書き続けてしまいます。これを防ぐため、keyspan_pda_write_start()が正常成功時にはゼロを返すように修正し、情報漏洩の問題を解決しました。
