Patch availableChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to version 7.4.0, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities were identified due to insufficient output encoding of user-controlled request parameter names and parameter values. The application reflects attacker-controlled input into JavaScript string contexts and HTML attribute contexts without proper sanitization or contextual output encoding. Affected endpoints observed during testing: /FamilyCustomFieldsEditor.php, /PaddleNumList.php and /admin/system/church-info. Potential consequences include session-token theft, account takeover, unauthorized actions on behalf of authenticated users, exposure of sensitive church member information, credential harvesting, phishing, and privilege escalation when administrators are targeted. This issue has been resolved in version 7.4.0.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation when the stated preconditions are met. If successful, the issue may gain additional privileges.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
