Medium technical severity with public exploit material referenced by a structured source; prioritise exposed affected systems while verifying vendor guidance.
These OSV and GitHub advisory ranges apply only to the named package and ecosystem. A listed fixed version is not a universal product patch or proof that an update is installed.

Patch availableShopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel. Prior to 2.9.0, the /cpanel/discounts administrative interface accepts negative fixed_amount discount values, persists them in sh_discounts, and passes them through vendor/shopper/cart/src/Discounts/DiscountCalculator.php and vendor/shopper/cart/src/Pipelines/Calculate.php without enforcing a positive-value invariant. Because the calculation subtracts discountTotal from the subtotal, a negative discount increases the resulting order total instead of reducing it. Malformed discount records can therefore cause incorrect pricing and financial data integrity failures, although the advisory does not establish a customer-facing exploitation path. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.0.

The product receives input or data, but it does not validate or incorrectly validates that the input has the properties that are required to process the data safely and correctly.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-20: Improper Input Validation. The product receives input or data, but it does not validate or incorrectly validates that the input has the properties that are required to process the data safely and correctly.
