Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.

Fix not verifiedconda-forge is a GitHub organization containing repositories of conda recipes. In commits 85748ad2368a and prior, two React components render externally-sourced strings directly as HTML using dangerouslySetInnerHTML, with no sanitization (the project has no DOMPurify or equivalent dependency). JSON files are produced automatically by the conda-forge autotick bot (regro/cf-scripts) while it processes every conda-forge feedstock and its upstream source artifacts. The error/status strings embed raw output captured from those processes (build logs, patch output, tracebacks). The website renders them verbatim as HTML. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
