Evidence used
- No CISA KEV confirmation is currently recorded.
- The selected CVSS metric records a network-reachable, unauthenticated path with no user interaction.
- EPSS is 0.52% for the current model date.

Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.
These OSV and GitHub advisory ranges apply only to the named package and ecosystem. A listed fixed version is not a universal product patch or proof that an update is installed.

Patch availablesafeurl is a server-side request forgery protection library. Prior to 0.2.4, the privateNetworks list in ip.go omits the IPv6 ranges 64:ff9b:1::/48, 5f00::/16, 3fff::/20, and 100:0:0:1::/64. When an application enables IPv6 with EnableIPv6(true), an attacker-controlled destination in one of these ranges is not recognized as non-public and can pass the SSRF destination check, potentially allowing access to resources hosted within the omitted ranges. IPv6 is disabled by default, and configurations that retain EnableIPv6(false) are not exposed to this bypass. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.4.

The server follows an attacker-influenced destination, allowing requests to systems or services the attacker cannot reach directly.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication or user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
