Patch availableA mass assignment vulnerability exists in MISP’s sharing group creation endpoint. When creating a new sharing group, the controller did not remove a user-supplied id field before saving the submitted data. In CakePHP, supplying a primary key in the save data can cause a create() followed by save() operation to update an existing record instead of creating a new one. An authenticated user with permission to add sharing groups could therefore submit the identifier of an existing sharing group and modify that sharing group without passing the normal edit access-control checks. This may allow the attacker to take over or alter sharing groups they do not otherwise have access to, potentially affecting the confidentiality and integrity of information shared through those groups. Affected component: app/Controller/SharingGroupsController.php, add() action

The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-639: Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key. The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
