Fix not verifiedNest is a framework for building scalable Node.js server-side applications. Prior to 11.1.24, an authentication bypass vulnerability exists in @nestjs/platform-fastify. When middleware is registered through NestJS's MiddlewareConsumer.forRoutes() API on the Fastify adapter, an unauthenticated client can bypass the Nest middleware registered for that route by simply appending a trailing slash (/) to the request URL. This bypass works on the default Fastify adapter configuration. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.1.24.

The application performs an authorisation check, but it does not correctly enforce the required permission boundary.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may bypass an access boundary or take over an account.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-863: Incorrect Authorization. The product performs an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action, but it does not correctly perform the check.
