Patch availableA flaw was found in migration-planner. An authenticated attacker could exploit an improper access control vulnerability in the `/api/v1/sources/{id}/image-url` endpoint. This flaw allows the attacker to bypass an ownership check and obtain presigned S3 URLs for Open Virtual Appliance (OVA) images belonging to other users. Consequently, the attacker can download OVA images containing sensitive information, such as long-lived agent JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) and source configurations, potentially leading to unauthorized access and modification of the victim's source.

The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may obtain information outside the intended access boundary.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-639: Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key. The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
