- Summary
- A flaw was found in Cesanta Mongoose. A stack-based buffer overflow can occur in the mDNS handler when packing multiple records for a PTR query response into a fixed-size buffer due to a missing bounds check. This vulnerability can cause memory corruption, potentially resulting in a denial of service or arbitrary code execution in systems lacking memory protections (such as ASLR, PIE and stack canaries).
- Remediation
- No remediation text is recorded.
