Patch availableTabby (formerly Terminus) is a highly configurable terminal emulator. Prior to 1.0.232, Tabby's terminal linkifier passes any detected URI directly to the operating system's protocol handler without validating the protocol scheme. This allows a malicious SSH or Telnet server to send crafted terminal output containing dangerous protocol URIs which Tabby renders as clickable links, triggering arbitrary OS protocol handlers on the victim's machine. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.232.

The product implements a protection mechanism that relies on a list of inputs (or properties of inputs) that are not allowed by policy or otherwise require other action to neutralize before additional processing takes place, but the list is incomplete.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-184: Incomplete List of Disallowed Inputs. The product implements a protection mechanism that relies on a list of inputs (or properties of inputs) that are not allowed by policy or otherwise require other action to neutralize before additional processing takes place, but the list is incomplete.
