Mitigation availableFabric.js is a Javascript HTML5 canvas library. Prior to 7.4.0, a potential Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Fabric.js due to improper escaping of user-controlled input during SVG serialization via the toSVG() method. Specifically, the color field within the colorStops array of a fabric.Gradient object is not properly escaped when converted into SVG <stop> elements. If an application renders the generated SVG string into the DOM, this may allow an attacker to inject arbitrary HTML/SVG and execute JavaScript in the victim's browser. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.4.0.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
A structured CVE source labels at least one public reference as exploit material. BlackTree has not independently validated that it is safe, reliable or weaponised.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
