Evidence used
- No CISA KEV confirmation is currently recorded.
- A structured source references public exploit or proof-of-concept material.
- EPSS is 0.27% for the current model date.

Fix not verifiedKyverno is a policy engine designed for cloud native platform engineering teams. Prior to 2.5.2, Vue 3's v-html directive is the framework-documented mechanism for injecting raw HTML, and it intentionally disables the auto-escaping that {{ }} interpolation provides. The PropertyCard.vue component uses v-html for the else branch of the URL check, meaning any non-URL string value flows directly into the DOM as HTML. The isURL() guard only filters values that parse as http: or https: URLs, so any HTML payload not starting with those schemes bypasses it entirely. The data originates from Kubernetes PolicyReport .results[].properties fields, which are arbitrary string maps populated by policy engines and potentially by any principal with write access to PolicyReport objects in the cluster. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.2.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
A structured CVE source labels at least one public reference as exploit material. BlackTree has not independently validated that it is safe, reliable or weaponised.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
