Fix not verifiedWagtail is an open source content management system built on Django. Prior to 7.0.7, 7.3.2, and 7.4, a CMS user with limited access to pages could copy a page they don't have access to to an area of the site they do. Once coped, they'd be able to view its contents, and potentially publish it. Permissions were correctly checked for the copy destination, but not for the source page. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.7, 7.3.2, and 7.4.

The product does not handle or incorrectly handles when it has insufficient privileges to access resources or functionality as specified by their permissions. This may cause it to follow unexpected code paths that may leave the product in an invalid state.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
