Mitigation availablePocket ID is an OIDC provider that allows users to authenticate with their passkeys to your services. Prior to 2.6.0, The createTokenFromRefreshToken function (oidc_service.go) validates the refresh token's cryptographic integrity but does not re-validate the user's current authorization state before issuing new tokens. This allows (1) the client to refresh the token indefinitely after authorization revocation, (2) the refresh token to continue to work after the account is disabled, and (3) the token to work after the client is removed from the group. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.0.

The product does not perform or incorrectly performs an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
A structured CVE source labels at least one public reference as exploit material. BlackTree has not independently validated that it is safe, reliable or weaponised.
CWE-285: Improper Authorization. The product does not perform or incorrectly performs an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action.
