Fix not verifiedDeepChat is an open-source artificial intelligence agent platform that unifies models, tools, and agents. Prior to v1.0.4-beta.1, a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists due to a discrepancy between the backend validation layer and the frontend browser rendering engine. The SVGSanitizer (src/main/lib/svgSanitizer.ts) restricts script execution by scrubbing javascript: protocols using plain-text regular expressions. However, it fails to account for HTML entity decoding prior to Vue's v-html DOM insertion inside the SvgArtifact.vue component. By feeding an SVG artifact with obfuscated entities (e.g., javascript:alert(1)), an attacker can completely bypass the sanitizer, culminating in arbitrary JavaScript execution when a victim interacts with the rendered SVG Element. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.0.4-beta.1.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
