Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.
These OSV and GitHub advisory ranges apply only to the named package and ecosystem. A listed fixed version is not a universal product patch or proof that an update is installed.

Fix not verifiedExposure of Sensitive Information Through Data Queries vulnerability in Apache Syncope. An administrator with adequate entitlements for Derived Schemas can create a malicious JEXL expression which allows any administrator with sufficient entitlements for User read to access User-related security-sensitive information. This issue affects Apache Syncope: 3.0 through 3.0.16, 4.0 through 4.0.5, 4.1.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.6 / 4.1.1, which fix this issue by further restricting the JEXL expression definition.

When trying to keep information confidential, an attacker can often infer some of the information by using statistics.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with elevated privileges. If successful, the issue may obtain information outside the intended access boundary.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
