Patch availableCoolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.471, the TrustProxies middleware trusts all proxies ($proxies = '*'), accepting X-Forwarded-Host from any source. The TrustHosts middleware, intended to prevent host header attacks, has a circular caching dependency that prevents it from ever validating hosts. When a password reset is requested, the ResetPassword notification generates the reset URL using url(route(..., false)), which derives the host from the (spoofable) request. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a password reset email containing a link pointing to an attacker-controlled domain, enabling token theft and account takeover. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0-beta.471.

The product contains a mechanism for users to recover or change their passwords without knowing the original password, but the mechanism is weak.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may bypass an access boundary or take over an account.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-640: Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password. The product contains a mechanism for users to recover or change their passwords without knowing the original password, but the mechanism is weak.
