Patch availableCraft CMS is a content management system (CMS). From version 4.0.0-RC1 to before version 4.17.8 and from version 5.0.0-RC1 to before version 5.9.14, a low-privileged authenticated user can read private asset content by calling assets/edit-image with an arbitrary assetId that they are not authorized to view. The endpoint returns image bytes (or a preview redirect) without enforcing a per-asset view authorization check, leading to potential unauthorized disclosure of private files. This issue has been patched in versions 4.17.8 and 5.9.14.

The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
