Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.
These OSV and GitHub advisory ranges apply only to the named package and ecosystem. A listed fixed version is not a universal product patch or proof that an update is installed.

Mitigation availableNew API is a large language mode (LLM) gateway and artificial intelligence (AI) asset management system. Starting in version 0.10.0, a logic flaw in the universal secure verification flow allows an authenticated user with a registered passkey to satisfy secure verification without completing a WebAuthn assertion. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available. Until a patched release is applied, do not rely on passkey as the step-up method for privileged secure-verification actions; require TOTP/2FA for those actions where operationally possible; or temporarily restrict access to affected secure-verification-protected endpoints.

The affected component does not establish the requesting party's identity reliably before granting access.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with elevated privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-287: Improper Authentication. When an actor claims to have a given identity, the product does not prove or insufficiently proves that the claim is correct.
