Evidence used
- No CISA KEV confirmation is currently recorded.
- Exploitation requires an existing local or physical foothold with privileges.
- EPSS is 0.30% for the current model date.

Fix not verifiedCosyVoice thru commit 6e01309e01bc93bbeb83bdd996b1182a81aaf11e (2025-30-21) contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability (CWE-502) in its model loading component. The framework uses torch.load() to load model weight files (e.g., llm.pt, flow.pt, hift.pt) without enabling the security-restrictive weights_only=True parameter. This allows the deserialization of arbitrary Python objects via the pickle module. An attacker can exploit this by providing a malicious model directory containing specially crafted model files. When a victim starts the CosyVoice Web UI pointing to this directory, arbitrary code is executed on the victim's system during the model loading process.

Untrusted data can cross into a code-evaluation path and be interpreted as executable instructions.
An attacker operating through local access may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may execute code or commands in the affected security context.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-94: Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection'). The product constructs all or part of a code segment using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the syntax or behavior of the intended code segment.
