Evidence used
- No CISA KEV confirmation is currently recorded.
- A structured source references public exploit or proof-of-concept material.
- EPSS is 0.44% for the current model date.

Patch availableTypebot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions 3.15.2 and prior, the RatingButton component in the embed package renders the user-controlled customIcon.svg field directly via Solid's innerHTML directive without any sanitization, even though DOMPurify is already a dependency and is used elsewhere in the codebase (e.g., StreamingBubble.tsx). Because rating blocks are not flagged as isUnsafe by the import sanitizer and the builder preview renders bots inline on the builder's own origin (builder.typebot.io) under a CSP permitting 'unsafe-inline', a malicious imported or collaborator-crafted typebot can execute arbitrary HTML/JS in the builder's authenticated context, bypassing the Web Worker sandbox that protects Script blocks during preview. This allows session hijacking and privilege escalation within the builder application. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may gain additional privileges.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
CISA Vulnrichment records proof-of-concept exploitation in its SSVC data. BlackTree has not independently executed or validated exploit material.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
