Patch availablecrawlseo before version 0.2.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in its crawler engine where isPrivateIp() fails to block reserved IP ranges such as RFC 6598 Carrier-Grade NAT, RFC 6890, TEST-NET ranges and certain IPv6 addresses, and additionally fails to pin the validated address for the actual outbound connection, allowing a TOCTOU DNS rebinding bypass. An authenticated attacker can add a malicious domain that resolves to an internal or restricted address, trigger a crawl to reach internal services or cloud metadata endpoints like 169.254.169.254, and retrieve the fetched page's title, description, headings, status code and links through the crawl results API, enabling internal network reconnaissance.

The server follows an attacker-influenced destination, allowing requests to systems or services the attacker cannot reach directly.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
