Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.

Patch availableNuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 3.13.0 until 4.6.2, the server-island renderer serializes raw useHeadSafe entry input into the island response without preserving the safe-input marker, and NuxtIsland later inserts that input into the page head as an ordinary entry. An application that passes attacker-controlled data to useHeadSafe in a .server.vue component or page, or in a component rendered through NuxtIsland, can therefore render values normally removed by the allowlist, including event-handler attributes or executable script content, resulting in stored cross-site scripting in the application origin. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.2 .

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
