Medium technical severity with no CISA KEV confirmation; remediate through the normal risk-based patch cycle unless local exposure raises the priority.
These OSV and GitHub advisory ranges apply only to the named package and ecosystem. A listed fixed version is not a universal product patch or proof that an update is installed.

Patch availableNuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. Prior to 4.6.2, Nuxt resolves pages case-insensitively by default while Nitro matches server-side route-rule keys case-sensitively, allowing a request whose path differs only by letter case to render without the server rule intended for that page. The mismatch can skip redirect, headers, proxy, ssr: false, and noScripts, and can cause getRouteRules(event) and matchRouteRules to return no rule for the case variant. Applications that set router.options.sensitive: true in nuxt.config are not affected; setting sensitive only in app/router.options.ts does not establish this exclusion because the server follows the nuxt.config value. Access checks implemented in server middleware, page route middleware, or page data fetching remain independent of this matcher. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.2.

The product does not properly account for differences in case sensitivity when accessing or determining the properties of a resource, leading to inconsistent results.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication or user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-178: Improper Handling of Case Sensitivity. The product does not properly account for differences in case sensitivity when accessing or determining the properties of a resource, leading to inconsistent results.
