Fix not verifiedChamilo is a learning management system. Prior to version 1.11.34, there is a stored XSS vulnerability in Chamilo LMS (Verison 1.11.32) allows an attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the platform’s social network and internal messaging features. When viewed by an authenticated user (including administrators), the payload executes in their browser within the LMS context. This enables full account takeover via session hijacking, unauthorized actions with the victim’s privileges, exfiltration of sensitive data, and potential self-propagation to other users. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.34.

Attacker-controlled content can reach a browser as executable script without sufficient output encoding or sanitisation.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may bypass an access boundary or take over an account.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting'). The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
