Fix not verifiedAdobe Commerce versions 2.4.9-alpha1, 2.4.8-p1, 2.4.7-p6, 2.4.6-p11, 2.4.5-p13, 2.4.4-p14 and earlier are affected by a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability that could result in privilege escalation. A high-privileged attacker could trick a victim into executing unintended actions on a web application where the victim is authenticated, potentially allowing unauthorized access or modification of sensitive data. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a malicious website or click on a crafted link. Scope is changed.

The application accepts a state-changing browser request without a reliable anti-forgery check.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with elevated privileges. If successful, the issue may gain additional privileges.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-352: Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
