Evidence used
- No CISA KEV confirmation is currently recorded.
- The selected CVSS metric records a network-reachable, unauthenticated path with no user interaction.
- EPSS is 0.77% for the current model date.

High technical severity; prioritise exposed affected systems while verifying vendor guidance.
Debian findings are scoped to the named distribution, release and source package. An absent finding does not mean a package is unaffected.
A published vendor fix does not prove that a matching update is enabled and installable on a particular asset. Confirm the local package candidate before scheduling remediation.

Patch availableIn the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen-netfront: Add missing skb_mark_for_recycle Notice that skb_mark_for_recycle() is introduced later than fixes tag in commit 6a5bcd84e886 ("page_pool: Allow drivers to hint on SKB recycling"). It is believed that fixes tag were missing a call to page_pool_release_page() between v5.9 to v5.14, after which is should have used skb_mark_for_recycle(). Since v6.6 the call page_pool_release_page() were removed (in commit 535b9c61bdef ("net: page_pool: hide page_pool_release_page()") and remaining callers converted (in commit 6bfef2ec0172 ("Merge branch 'net-page_pool-remove-page_pool_release_page'")). This leak became visible in v6.8 via commit dba1b8a7ab68 ("mm/page_pool: catch page_pool memory leaks").

The product does not sufficiently track and release allocated memory after it has been used, making the memory unavailable for reallocation and reuse.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication or user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-401: Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime. The product does not sufficiently track and release allocated memory after it has been used, making the memory unavailable for reallocation and reuse.
