Patch availableMultiple WSO2 products have been identified as vulnerable to perform user impersonatoin using JIT provisioning. In order for this vulnerability to have any impact on your deployment, following conditions must be met: * An IDP configured for federated authentication and JIT provisioning enabled with the "Prompt for username, password and consent" option. * A service provider that uses the above IDP for federated authentication and has the "Assert identity using mapped local subject identifier" flag enabled. Attacker should have: * A fresh valid user account in the federated IDP that has not been used earlier. * Knowledge of the username of a valid user in the local IDP. When all preconditions are met, a malicious actor could use JIT provisioning flow to perform user impersonation.

The application performs an authorisation check, but it does not correctly enforce the required permission boundary.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
CWE-863: Incorrect Authorization. The product performs an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action, but it does not correctly perform the check.
