Patch availableNextcloud iOS is an ios application used to interface with the nextcloud home cloud ecosystem. In versions prior to 4.7.0 when an attacker has physical access to an unlocked device, they may enable the integration into the iOS Files app and bypass the Nextcloud pin/password protection and gain access to a users files. It is recommended that the Nextcloud iOS app is upgraded to 4.7.0. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

The product does not preserve permissions or incorrectly preserves permissions when copying, restoring, or sharing objects, which can cause them to have less restrictive permissions than intended.
An attacker operating through physical access may attempt exploitation with low privileges. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
