- Summary
- A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's xsk component. When multiple network sockets share the same user memory (UMEM) in XDP_SHARED_UMEM mode, packets processed by subsequent sockets can become corrupted. This occurs because the system fails to properly initialize the Direct Memory Access (DMA) addresses for network buffer entries for these additional sockets. This vulnerability can lead to data integrity issues or a denial of service for affected network communications.
- Remediation
- Fix deferred
