Mitigation availableA flaw was found in WildFly Elytron version 1.11.3.Final and before. When using WildFly Elytron FORM authentication with a session ID in the URL, an attacker could perform a session fixation attack. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
A flaw was found in WildFly Elytron version 1.11.3.Final and before. When using WildFly Elytron FORM authentication with a session ID in the URL, an attacker could perform a session fixation attack. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
Authenticating a user, or otherwise establishing a new user session, without invalidating any existing session identifier gives an attacker the opportunity to steal authenticated sessions.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication after a user interaction. If successful, the issue may cause the confidentiality, integrity or availability impact described by the vendor.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
