Fix not verifiedTurborepo is a high-performance build system for JavaScript and TypeScript codebases. From 1.1.0 to before 2.9.14, Turborepo can be vulnerable to arbitrary code execution when run in untrusted repositories that contain malicious Yarn configuration. In affected versions, package manager detection executed yarn --version from the project directory, which could cause Yarn to load and execute a project-controlled yarnPath from .yarnrc.yml. An attacker who controls repository contents could cause code execution when a user or CI system runs affected turbo, @turbo/codemod, or @turbo/workspace conversion commands. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.9.14.

The product searches for critical resources using an externally-supplied search path that can point to resources that are not under the product's direct control.
An attacker operating through a network path may attempt exploitation without authentication or user interaction. If successful, the issue may execute code or commands in the affected security context.

CVSS severity, EPSS forecast probability, public exploit material and CISA-confirmed exploitation are separate signals.
No CISA KEV match was present at the last successful refresh. This means no confirmation from that source, not proof of no exploitation.
No exploit-tagged reference or CISA SSVC proof-of-concept state is currently recorded. Research may still exist outside the structured feeds.
